How We Work-Family

Family support groups are a tool REASON TO HOPE employs to gather the affected persons and the carers or family members to regularly train and equip them in real time settings. These groups mature to form income generating groups and regularly give birth and support other groups allowing the program to reach further.

FSGs also mobilize resources from within the group and externally (by doing successful proposals) to support clinics and local advocacy activities.) FSGs also ensure adequate follow up and home visits if possible and perfectly complement advocacy activities. We have groups organized in Ol Kalau, Nyahururu, Njambini, Mukurwini, Dol dol, Karen, Engineer, Chuka among other places.
